About Us

London Health Research Day is the largest research day of its kind in Ontario. Each year, more than 700 people attend this event. Together, participants represent health science labs from across Lawson Health Research Institute, Western University's Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Western's Faculty of Health Sciences. The day includes poster and platform presentations, The Lucille & Norton Wolf Health Research Lecture Series, and a networking and awards reception.

Graduate students, trainees, clinical fellows, residents and postdoctoral scholars are invited to submit abstracts for competition, which are grouped into broad categories for evaluation. Participation in the poster presentations is determined by the score received for the written abstract, with the top scoring abstracts invited to participate in feature platform presentations. Judging will be administered by groups of experts drawn from each institution. Visitors are encouraged to attend to find out more about the exciting and groundbreaking health research being conducted across the city of London.

London Health Research Day is presented in partnership by Lawson Health Research Institute and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
