About Us

London Health Research Day is the largest research day of its kind in Ontario. Each year, more than 700 people attend this event. Together, participants represent health science labs from across Lawson Health Research Institute, the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Robarts Research Institute, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. The day includes poster and platform presentations, informative workshops, The Lucille & Norton Wolf Health Research Lecture Series, and a wine and cheese networking session for trainees and industry partners.

Graduate students, trainees, clinical fellows, residents and postdoctoral scholars are invited to submit abstracts for competition, which are grouped into broad categories for evaluation. Participation in the poster presentations is determined by the score received for the written abstract, with the top scoring abstracts invited to participate in the feature platform presentation competition. Judging will be administered by groups of experts drawn from each institution. Visitors are encouraged to attend to find out more about the exciting and ground-breaking health research being conducted across the city of London.

London Health Research Day is presented in partnership by Lawson Health Research Institute and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
